hey
I just started working like fondant and I have to make 36 fondant roses in advance for my final cake in my class. my question is should the fondant be covered
to keep the flowers from getting hard, or are they supposed to be hard.

They are supposed to get hard. You will want to keep the fondant covered that you aren't working with so it doesn't get hard before you're ready for it. As for the finished roses, let them turn hard. Good luck. Post a pic of your final cake. thumbs_up.gif
