OK my brother's birthday is not until March but I am tyring to get some ideas for his cake, it will probably just be a 9x13, sheet.
He just had a custom sword made for him so I am going to put an edible image of the sword on the cake.
My problem is I need a clever saying or something else to complete it, It looks plain with just the sword and Happy Birthday. just looking for some suggestions!!!
Oh he will be 39, if that helps any.

why not cut the sheet into sections you can arrange to make a sword?

and then

"anyway you cut it...here ends your youth"

one w/ a double entendre
"no matter how old, may you always be able to hold up your sword"

Thanks for the suggestions Doug, those are both both great ideas, I really like the second one, unfortunately my parents and brother are kind of conservative, hmmm. wonder if it would embaress them to much???
I will keep both of those in mind.
Thanks again.

how about cutting the cake into longer rectangles and piecing together to make a sword shape and then covering it in fondant so you can paint the surface with silver and gold luster dusts and then add any details to match his sword. then you dont have to worry at all about any words.

that in itself would say happy birthday!
