I am making the cake for the end of season party for my sons b-ball team the "Pirates".
For some reason I can't think of any designs that incorporate basketball and pirates, this is all I've come up with, what do you think?
It's just a rough sketch but does it make sense?
I'm open to any more suggestions.

I think that's great!! You have access to gold and silver glaze for coins? A jewel mold for jewels? Love it!

love the design, how about his jersey spilling out too, I think that would really personalize it.

It's perfect!! Remember, it's boys. Teen boys. If they can eat it, they will love it! But for everyone else, that cake will blow them away!

That is an awesome design. My granddaughter plays basketball. I hope she's a pirate someday so I can do this.

Oh what a wonderful idea. I think it goes very well together. I wonder how the ball would look all in gold? LOL I love gold...well anything shinny and sparkly!

i read "baseball" team and when i looked at the sketch i couldn't understand why there was a basketball in it?? haha. i got it now! i like the sketch and i'm kinda liking the idea of a gold basketball. talk about flashy! icon_biggrin.gif
