ok... after reading the pages and pages of posts from the How to make Gelatin Bows & Flowers thread & doing every search I could think of, I still have a question... How in the heck do you add the fine detail to butterfly wings? I'm thinking of using a fine brush & painting airbrush color or gel color mixed with vodka, but I don't have the time or patience for trial or error, as my niece's cake needs to be ready in less than 48 hours icon_cry.gif ... Somebody in CC world - please throw me a lifeline here! Thanks in advance!

im pretty sure its just painting.
you can add a tiny bit lustre dust to the geletin for inbuilt detail - not too much, cause then it makes the geletin to fragile.

Thanks for the luster dust idea... I've got some of that & have been waiting for a cool design to use it!
