Doug
I don't know what that is made of but it apparently has a 180 gb Hd , 512 megs of pc333 ram, a cd burner, 2 usb ports, 2 ps2 ports , a 3 Ghz pentium 4 processor, an AGP video card and a 22" TFT Lcd monitor.
So I don't think I want to eat it. LOL
And hurry up and post something Doug ... Your post number is freakin me out! 8666 !
Yes! I won! I finally beat the the teacher! heheh, just kidding.
Someone should just go on next because I'm getting a headache with my website. I have no idea where to start and how to do things. I'll get back with everything once I get this settled. I'll see you guys.
well if you both insist....
Oh lord, nathan, it's time for you appointment with the doctor.
I'm bloody well stumped!!
I have an early day tomorrow- way too early for me (6 a.m. wake up call)- I think my brain is already falling asleep
I got entangled in some heated CC threads , so I was away from the game . I will go look a little before bed if I can't find it I will pick back up tomorrow.
Doug. You may want to go back and check out the PVC pipe thread.
And I cant believe the way some people think $1 a serving for a highly detailed fondant covered cake with gumpaste figures is fair because that's all they can get for it in their town. At that rate it would cost me money to make a cake! UUGGGGHHHH what a night.
hint:
in the clue itself:
a misplaced adjective (that can also be used as a noun) + another noun = a "title" of a particular person.
an article + a noun = how Nathan and everyone else refers to him -- "He's --- -----!"
you're looking for his mode of travel
has this really stumped you all that much?
some more clues then:
- tho' he seems British, he's actually non-native
- has the most amazing little sonic gizmo
- never know where or when he's going to pop in
- the current actor playing him, the 10th in a series of actors to do so, was also in Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire (that' actually 2 hints)
- His "companions" are all women except for one: a pain-the-butt guy who occasionally drops in and who now stars in a spin-off series of his own (two more hints again)
===
remember, you are looking for:
- a birthday cake (ok, that's another hint)
- for a boy named "Nathan" (part of a whole collection of cakes for boys -- another hint)
- it is this famous character's mode of travel
well, OK then.
I'm off to watch the Finale of "So You Think You Can Dance"
and as it seems no one wants to try to find this cake (having noticed all the other major players in the thread have posted repeatedly elsewhere on CC)
here's the answer and 2 other very cute variations (gotta love that little boy holding it in his lap -- so "boy" with the big ears and stained shirt)
cake in question (1st column, #6 down)

cute variation #1: (also 1st column, #6 down)

and the cutest one: (second in top row)

The Doctor's Tardis.
The Doctor is a TIME LORD who travels in time from the distant past to the "end of time"
We're on Dr. #10 (until this Dec. when #11 takes over)
He's currently played by David Tennant (Burty Crouch JR in HP&GoF)
He carries a SONIC screwdriver that does the most amazing things
His companions were: Rose, Martha, Donna and the PITA Jack Harkness (played by Jack Barrowman of the TORCHWOOD spin off series)

final inside joking comment:
I guess you all want to EXTERMINATE* me now!
* can you identify the characters from Dr. Who that are the source of this "line"?
--------
So, Rylan, it's back to you to send us on another hunt.
I almost picked that one !!!!
Really, But i had no idea what the Dr stuff had to do with it so i thought it was wrong... UUUGGGHHH I should always go with my first feeling!
I still don't have a clue (HAHA) as to what your clues were talkin about though.
I have never heard of it. Still don't know what the police box is other than you saying he travels in it..
You successfully stumped me!
And I got all riled up elsewhere on CC!
So I will keep checking back for another clue. I haven't "seen" Rylan today though...
I must say I was completely lost! Sorry, I'm not as clever as I thought I was! LOL
Me either..
Doug just really busted my ego!!!! hahhahahah
I'm back and I ready to make all your head hurt.
Clue: The owner of www.SewRetroAprons.com is actually black in the inside.
Hahhahahahahah I have been told I have a black heart! LOL
Next clue
"This Creative cake is out of this world, I am absolutely green with envy!"
HAHAHAHA!
Anways, let me get back at the cake hunt. Is it this: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/53/148169709_5b8fcae660.jpg
