I have seen a lot of beer bottle cakes here..and I would like to try i myself. i have a friend of mine. her boyfriend is graduating on the 15th of august he will be an EMT..and i would love to make her boyfriend to do a beer tub cake with his favotirte beer..i had made the mold already but, i am afraid that once i pour the sugar inside that i might crack the sugar..can some tell me how can i get the sugar from the mold without cracking it?? appreciate all the suggestion and help that i can get...thanks
I did the beer bottle bucket and believe it or not the sugar is VERY durable after it dries and should only crack along the bottom a little bit. There is a huge forum topic on sugar beer bottles, not sure how to tell you to find it, I'm involved in the discussion, I also did a martini glass mold, I have not tried it out yet.... But make sure your sugar is at least at 300 degrees otherwise it wont get hard.
