I jus found this caramel buttercream recipe on www.cupcakerehab.com. In the blog they use a vanilla flavored cupcake which sounds good to me. But i hav a request for chocolate cake with the caramel buttercream. Do u yall think thats a good flavor combination? What other flavors do u suggest?

Of course it is a good combination. You can also have chocolate with custard, fudge, mousse, chocolate buttercream and other chocolate filling.

Not to mention strawberry buttercreme (think chocolate covered strawberries) chocolate cake & peanut butter (think reeses pieces), chocolate & coconute buttercreme (think almond joy). Think of regular dessert combinations & you can come up with some great cake combos such as chocolate cake with carmel buttercreme...which of course is my favorite, chocolate covered carmels! icon_lol.gif
