Gold Bows...how Do I?

I made a search for bows but the forum search just kept loading so forgive me if there has already been a topic on this.

I am making this wedding cake next Sunday. I am good on the fondant and piping but I am very clueless on how to go about doing the bows. I understand I may need a few days in advance to get started on the bows so they can dry up.

Can anyone give me a step by step idea of how do get started on the bows?
How do I get the gold on? paint or knead them in?
Is there a certain mold I need to use? Any tools that may be helpful??

Please if anyone can help me out on this, it would be great. Thanks!!

It looks like they airbrushed gold.

Hi, here is a great tutorial on making a bow.




If you have an airbrush that will be great. If you don't mix some gold lustre dust with clear alcohol and paint on the bow, once its dry..
