Hi All, Well for the past couple of years I have wanted to learn to decorate cakes. I have pretty much no experience and just want to learn. Schooling is way too expensive and we have a local cake store that offers classes but $85 for one class to learn about fondant.... is it worth it? Just wondering where to start. Any good books you recommend? Any help would be great. Thanks a ton.

Welcome to CC.....be careful this site IS addicting. Michaels does have Wilton classes & they run specials to make it a little cheaper. There's a lot of videos on you tube...check out sugarshack's DVDs, everyone says they're great...Good Luck!
