Small Font/writing On Cookies (W. Stencils?)

i have a #1 icing tip but i'd like to write on a 2" cookie and it's a bit too large. i've seen this done by professionals. do they use a stencil for the writing? where can i buy letter stencils for this? thanks!

If you are unable to get anything to do that, not sure what your writing, but you could always paint the letters on with paste colours with a very tiny brush. I did mobile phone cookies where i painted the numbers and letters on the buttons and they were only like 2 millimeters tall and it worked jsut fine.
