Has anybody tried using the new Spenda ?
It 's suppose to look and feel like real sugar, but half the calories.
I am afraid to try it since the last time I tried using Spelnda (old kind), I had to throw out my cake. I got a smal sample pack with my new
Kitchen Aid Mixer I got last Christmas. I have only used it in coffee so far.. ![]()
I have used the Splenda/brown sugar blend to make cookies and scones for my diabetic mom, and she thought they were delicious. I haven't tried making cake. Because the new ones are blends, the taste is better, but you'd have to be VERY careful offering them to diabetics!
