i have a cake coming up for a couple's "stock the bar" shower and it's a luau theme. any ideas on how to tie the 2 together? My thought was a basket with a bottle of wine with sugar grapes on a beach scene with hibiscus and palm trees...is that lame?

How about a tiki bar on the beach with the palm tree and flowers? Little tropical drinks on the bar. Just a thought.

cake that looks like:

one of those coconuts with the top removed and drink put inside, complete with that silly parasol and straw?


tiki god head drink holder?

cake that looks like a flaming hurricane? (could even really do the flame -- sugar cube soaked in everclear or other high test alcohol like rum)
