I have an order for a 4 tier wedding cake coming up. The bride wants smbc frosting but is looking to have a damask pattern on it. I'm thinking of chilling the frosted cake and then going over it with a stencil and a palette knife with more frosting...or...would a embossing mat be a better choice? All ideas are welcome...I need some ideas quick!!!

I would take the first method with a stencil, works really well I think. Embossing doesn't give that much relief although it is much less work icon_wink.gif

Good luck!
