Attach Editabel Image To Cookie Question

How did you attach the Editable image to the cookie I am using the NFSC and Antonia RI do I place the image on the cookie while the icing is wet and then let the cookie set for 24 hours I did this once but my image came off my cookie when I packaged it any help will be appreciated .

I attach the frosting sheet with corn syrup and attach immediately. Make sure that all of it is attached, no air bubbles. I use royal to pipe a decorative edge around the sheet. I have never had one come off.
