Ok so I am using just white chocolate buttercream to frost a cake, then adding some fondant decorations. The cake has a cheesecake layer, and raspberry filling so I want it to remain refrigerated. Can I add the fondant decorations, then put it back in the fridge, or do I need to wait till the morning of to decorate it?
I made a cake for my daughters b-day and covered it in buttercream and had fondant figures on top. I put mine in the fridge because of the filling as well and had no problems as the figures were dried solid...this is just my own experience, however I am not a cake professional.soooo....it worked for me, thats all I'm saying!!!!
