Iris Flower Help

ok so i have never done flowers before..or even attempted to..none of the cakes i have done have required it...i know thats what most people learn when they first start doing the cake thing...i skipped that part...lol...

so here is my question...

my aunt called me to do a flower pot with iris flowers...i have searched and searched and the only thing i am seeing is other flowers...i have seen very good cakes with iris flowers though...but does anybody have a tutorial to do iris flowers or any tips or suggestions to do them?...is there a certain cutter i need to start out with?

i guess a should add that i am doing it from gumpaste...that might be helpful icon_redface.gif

try u-tube they have alot on fondant, gum paste and cake decorating

I just did a cake that I didn't know how to do the flowers. I pm'd the people who did the cake with the flowers I made and they all got back to me with instructions. Try that. Good luck on your flowers.
