Does anyone have a good, dense white cake recipe for petit fours? I want something that can stand up to being cut into small portions.

I think you will get a lot of people telling you to use WASC or White Almond Sour Cream Cake. I personally like the "Original" best. Here is a link:

Martha Stewarts white cake recipe will work well i think.
