Marbled Silver Effect

I'd like to make a marbled silver effect with fondant for my next cake. I sort of want a black and silver and mix them together to create a marbling. I know I've seen silver powder at the cake store. Can I add that to white and then marble that with black or is the silver powder just for painting/dusting on?

Thoughts?

Hm, I guess not. I mean, looking around it seems like silver is always painted or brushed on, so it seems I'm not going to be able to just mix it in with white to get a silvery effect that way.
