can you just melt chocolate and knead it into fondant to make choc fondant? im trying not to have to make candy clay, choc with corn syrup which is the only way i know to make choc fondant.
I actually Love the consistency of the fondant if you mix candy clay w/ fondant. If you're still wanting a chocolate flavor go w/ a really dark or unsweet chocolate. You should be able to melt chocolate & knead it in----just really soft, not really runny. You may need to add more glycerin to it for pliablity though. I've found chocolate fonadant seems more dry
opps!i should have specified that i was enquiring about white chocolate. i really wanted to avoid making candy clay, since i want to limit my use of corn syrup, is there any alternative?
I dont see why you couldnt use white chocolate instead of the other
