Hello all! My daughter will be turning one next month and I will be doing her cakes. I want to do a princess theme for her, but not the Disney princcess. Mommy & Daddy's princess! I have a few wilton mold that I was thinking about using but the more I think the more I don't want to do a molded cake. This was originally my plan, the crown cake for her smash cake, I know it is BIG for her but it would fit the theme. But I am not sure on what to do for the cake for everyone else to eat! I was thinking about doing a sheet cake and the piping butterflies and flowers on to it with a crown in the middle. At the time of her party I will have finished my first wilton's course and be going into the second one. I really want a cake that is going to be eye popping "WOW!" I don't have much decorating behind me. So I was hoping to find something easy but like I said eye popping "WOW!" So if you have any ideas please feel free to HELP me out here! Thank you Megan

Take a look at my pictures. The white and purple castle cake with the pink smash cake with the tiara on top was the first cake I ever made. It was for my niece and everyone loved it and it was really easy to do. I've done so many more of them for other people since then. When they see the picture they love it. If you need any help on how I did it let me know ... good luck!!
