I'm in the process of making my brother's wedding cake, and I'm matching the colors to their invitation (which is teal and sparkly bronze). I will be doing the hankerchief drape over a petal shaped cake. I made a lot of the Easy MMF (some in chocolate).

My question is... I'm using a bronze/brown luster dust on the chocolate MMF and I would like to know if the fondant needs to be on the cake and dried or can it be put on immediately after rolling and adhering to the cake?

You can paint immediately after you put on the fondant. Soft fondant actually absorbs the dust more making for more color.
