My MMF is very dusty colored from rolling it on the powder sugar coated surface. How do I remove the dustyness? When I brush it off, it still look slightly dusty. I can't seem to acheive the bright and deep colors that I want because of this. PLEASE HELP
I use crisco to roll out my mmf fondant with instead of PS. It works the same just sticky in place of the dryness. It gives it a nice glossy look. Good luck.
You can paint it with vodka to get rid of the powdered sugar and give it a slightly shiny look. The reason vodka works better than water is because it evaporates faster, so it doesn't soften your fondant.
Another thing that works is to paint with gel color thinned down with vodka, for a really bright look.
