Real Seashells On A Cake

Hi everyone,

I'm just starting out with cake decorating. I'm working on a beach theme cake and I want to use real shells. I'm wondering if anyone has advice as to how to stick them to the cake and to the cake board? I want something that won't hurt anyone, obviously! Please help and let me know icon_smile.gif

Hi, haven't done anything like that, but if I am making one, I would use chocolate shells. icon_smile.gif

To the cake you can add with buttercream. That would help for the seashells not to touch the cake. Just make sure you clean them really well. I dont think is a big deal, people eat clams all the time..
