I am going to be making a 3-D Noah's ark cake for my niece's babyshower, she requested a chocolate marble cake. I will need to carve the shape of the ark, so I want a denser cake and I thought of using a pound-cake. I cant seem to find a recipe, though. It doesnt necessarily need to be pound-cake, I just thought it would be better for carving. any ideas?
