Hello, all! I need to do some baseball themed cupcakes, and need your help. I'm planning to decorate some as baseballs, some as caps, etc. My question for you is, how do you go about getting a nice surface to decorate. I'm thinking about frosting with buttercream, then covering the top with fondant to give me a "canvas" to work with. I'm not sure how I'm going to get the fondant nice and smooth and even but still have a nice layer of BC for people to enjoy. Any ideas? Or, I'm open to other suggestions. Thanks for your help!!!
