This is probably right under my nose, but:
Does anyone (please) have a serving chart for 14+" tiers?
I have lovely charts for round & square cakes but only up to 12".
If there is a link to a complete chart somewhere, could someone please let me know?
Thank you so much.
Wilton's goes up to 16" http://www.wilton.com/cakes/making-cakes/baking-wedding-cake-2-inch-pans.cfm
earlene's goes up to like 22" or 24" http://www.earlenescakes.com/ckserchart.htm
I hope those links work...
Off the cuff, I would cut it in half and lay each side flat. Then cut like any shaped cake.
About Erlene's serving chart~
Are her wedding slices 1 x 2, like Wilton? I'm a bit confused - she wrote about Wilton pans not yielding the amount of servings listed on their chart as the reason for making a her serving chart. I didn't see anything about serving dimensions though. Is there a size difference?
Can someone please clarify this? I thought 1" x 2" x (3" or 4") was pretty standard for wedding servings.
Thank you.
I was trying to figure out what size the pieces were also. Found it on Earlene's Cake Serving Instructions, it is the 1x2in still.
