I am new to all this so I do not know if I am making these tiers correct! At first I tried the plates and columns but they are expensive and I do not like the look. I then used wooden dowels and shaped cardboard then coverd in plastic wrap... Is that what I am supposed to do? It doesnt seem to profesional! PLEASE HELP!!!

I make mine with dowels and cardboards, but I do not wrap them first. They're covered with borders, so no one sees them.

Put you layers on a cardboard round. Trim to the cake. No plastic necessary. Place it on a doweled cake. Pipe a border to cover the seam.
