Hello Everyone! I Just have a couple of questions , how do I get a deep deep red with the MMF? I did a Betty Boop cake and I don't think that it turned out dark enough for me? (picture belowicon_wink.gif And I use powdered sugar to roll out the MMF so it wont stick, but then I am left with a residue on the MMF and it it hard to dust off, any suggestions? Thanks so much for the Help!

I think I used Wilton's Christmas Red and it did okay...I just had touse a lot. As far as the powdered sugar: try brushing the cake with a damp paint brush.

wilton christmas red and wilton no taste red together make a nice red-red. Also you can add a little black, after it has set awhile to cure the color.
You're cake is so cute, I love betty! thumbs_up.gif

I agree with using Crisco. No sticking and a nice elastic mmf.

Regarding Americolor, how good is the Red Red Americolor? CC is sold out of the super red icon_cry.gif
