I am putting an image on fondant and haven't done this before.
Is there any sure fire way to get the image to stick and it look right?

I'm doing the same thing today for the first time, so I'd like to know as well. I was just going to use a light coating of extract so it would dry fast, but not sure if that's the answer or not.

Hi, I have done it only once. I put a very thin layer of shortening and then put the image on. I was able to slightly move it to get to the proper position I need. icon_smile.gif

I have heard of using a thin layer of piping gel and laying the edible image over that.
