I am working on a cake to look like this sign.

I had originally planned on doing an edible image but I'm thinking it might be better to do it by hand.

what do you think would be the best?

I think by had would be best. I use the images often but only on small things. Something this big I think looks best done by hand.

I think a food coloring marker on fondant would be the best way to go.
