Opinions Needed On Cake Fondant Or Edible Image

I am working on a cake to look like this sign.
I had originally planned on doing an edible image but I'm thinking it might be better to do it by hand.
what do you think would be the best?

I think a food coloring marker on fondant would be the best way to go.
