Convert Non-Crusting Bc Into Crusting?

Is there an ingredient to add/remove from a regular BC recipe to make it into a crusting BC? I have a great recipe and would love for it to crust when needed.

Whether a BC crusts has to do with the ratio of fat to PS... add more PS and it will crust (how much, of course, depends on the recipe).
