Cupcakes Baked In Ice-Cream Cones With/o Cones Getting Soggy

I tried to bake some cupcakes once in icecream cones, but the cones got soggy before the batter was baked. How do I avoid this. I would like to do it for this weekend(Father's day)

Did you put them into the oven right away? Don't let them sit, bake them right away and they should be fine.
