Corn Syrup In Box Mix?

To make my box cake mix more moist could I use corn syrup? If so, how much?

I've seen it done in scratch recipes. I'd start with 1/4 cup.

You'll just brown it more....... add full fat sour cream. to any cake batter. heaven, pure heaven.
