I had an order a while back for several hundred....I did them 2 days in advance, and packaged them, kept them cool. They were fine. HTH.

The chocolate covered Oreos--and the plain ones-- they sell in grocery stores are on the shelves forever. So is the chocolate the Oreos are dipped in. I think they'll be okay for a while if you keep them out of the heat.

I make them for christmas 2 weeks ahead of time. They are perfectly fine packaged up ready to go. (Those that aren't packaged, don't even make it through that day due to my "helpers" needing to sample some of the treats.
