IM trying to make a turquoise colored MMF. I tied it last night, and it came out too sticky. This was my first attempt at a bright color.... Has anyone added the color instead of some of the water in the microwave? TIA
I add color to my MMF before the powdered sugar. The gold and royal blue cake in my pictures is using MMF that I added the color too after melting the marshmallows but before putting in the powdered sugar. HTH!

No..I used the same. When It comes to the powdered sugar I always add as I go to acheive the right consistancy. Sometimes it takes all of it, sometimes not. But adding the color at the melty stage I always get the right colored dough I am looking for.
