is there a particular way to attach chocolate panels.... or a chocolate wrap to imbc? will it "stick" on its own? is there anything else i might need to know?

Sure...it'll stick....remember, the chocolate isn't set when you apply the wrap. I gently smooth the chocolate to the cake to be sure it adheres all the way around, then let it set and remove the paper.
