This will be the first time I make my own crust for a cheesecake. I was wondering how I should take the cheesecake off of the bottom of the springform pan???Do i let it cool in the fridge and then use a knife to separate it from the bottom? How do I do this without breaking it up? TIA

I've lined the pan bottom with parchment and had decent results. Once cooled, I pulled off the bottom and peeled off the parchemtn. I'd like to know if someone has any better ideas.
