I am about to try indydebi's recipe. It says you can use non dairy creamer and water in place of the milk. HTH!

The recipe I use doesn't take milk.

2 sticks butter
1 cup shortening
1 T vanilla
pinch salt
2 #s powdered sugar
thin with water

I use this on all my cakes.
