When Should I Add The Ri Tiara To The Cake?

OK, so I'm definately a newbie...I just made my first Pillow cake with RI Tiara for tomorrow. My question is when can I add the Tiara to the cake without having to worry about the RI becoming soft or breaking down sitting on the buttercream frosted cake?
I saw your photo, I think the tiara is very sturdy, thick RI, and looks like the buttercream is crusting one, you should not have any problem.
However I have not so much experience with buttercream.
Hopefully more cc-ers will come along and give more answer.
