Recently I watched the 4-part Food Network Challenge bake-off. One of the competitors used a gel to make her superhero 'glow'. Has anyone else seen it? Does anyone know what this gel is? The competitor was piping it on, and it almost looked like piping gel.

One of the judges said that the secret is out now, and it will be a staple of the cake decorating world. I would like to find out what it is!

Thank you everyone! icon_smile.gif

I know it was tonic water that does "glow" under a black light. But I am not sure of the formula she used.

She mixed tonic water with piping gel. The quinine in the tonic water made it glow!! It looks really cool if you try it let us know how it turns out icon_smile.gif
