I'm new to making these different fillings/icings and the recipes don't tell you if they need to be refrigerated or not. If there is cream cheese or milk/cream in them do they get refrigerated?
I use a choc. pastry cream filling regularly and I've always refrigerated cakes with that filling. Allthough the recipe didn't say
I used the cream cheese buttercream from Edna's website. I left it unrefrigerated for 1 hour and it was ok.
