Will Fondant Bleed Onto Buttercream?

I am making my first ever cake with fondant. It is going to be a simple Memorial Day cake with red,white and blue stars. Will the colors of the fondant bleed onto the cake?

Hi, let the buttercream crust and then stick them on. Use a little bit of water to stick them. icon_smile.gif

They only bleed if you use too much glue on them. Wich makes it runny. SO be careful on how much glue you use.
