Hi Everyone,
I'm normally a cake mix baker (I wish I had the skills to bake from scratch,) and I want to make a Strawberry Cake.

I have a strawberry cake mix (pilsbury I think), and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to doctor it up a bit?

I had thought about putting blended up frozen strawberries in it, or sour cream, or ??? I've made a red velvet mix with pudding and sour cream, and it was great, but I'm not sure about the strawberry.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I use DC and it is the one mix I don't mess with....... it is moist and yummy all on it's own......

I use this one & its so good! It might not be as dense as you might want it though. I think you could try pudding to resolve that issue.

Thanks. I've tried a few different recipes that have the strawberry jell-o in them, and they taste too much like jell-o to me.

I'm also wanting it to be very moist.

I have a strawberry cake (doctored up cake mix) I use and everyone loves it . As soon as I get home from work this evening I will PM the recipe to you.
