I have been asked to make a cake or cupcakes or cookies for a triva night with the theme of the 1980's.
I remember the 80's well, yet I am at a total blank trying to think of what to do.
Please help ... ...

How about a rubiks cube cake? There are several on here and I think they are relatively easy to make.
I saw these cakes in an old decorating book I have and thought of your post...
If you need directions, let me know
cupcakes would be fun - some to look like records, some in neon colors w/ lightening bolts, stuff like that.
how bout an alf cake maybe made with the teddy bear pan, lol. that would be funny
i love the 80's i'm jealous, haha.
How about a cake dedicated to all of the great cartoons from the 80s like smurfs, snorks, rainbow brite, wuzzles, popples, and so on............
Hmmm... I did a boom box not too long ago.

Very 80's! If i were to do it again, i'd make the handle much shorter, and a bit fatter. It was super easy to do though!
Hmmm thats a good one. How about something combining punk rock, neon colors, records, and roller rinks (I went there a lot in the 80's). That's what I think of when I think of the 80's.
oh i have one! how about a big light bright and you can make any design you want on it with some little pegs

That would be awesome! Like 3 offset rectangles with the colored squares. I think I saw one like that somewhere....

As soon as I saw this thread I thought Disco Ball - use the ball pan and make it look like the mirror balls and put it on a big disco dance floor with John Travolta's dancing!
