Stacking Sponge Cake

I am making a cake in the shape of a building it will be basically four 9x13 stacked cakes and will be approx a foot tall.

Can I use sponge cakes? Do they stack okay? Also, I will be covering in fondant.

All help appreciated!!!

I made this cake using 3 6" sponge cakes. It was also about 1ft tall. As long as you support it properly it shouldnt be a problem. I think the most difficult will be to roll a piece of fondant big enough to cover the cake !
