Does anyone have any advice on making fondant lace pieces for a wedding cake with the silicone molds. I have been trying..... and it never tears off clean and am always having to clean up the edges with an exacto knife. Please can anyone let me know what I can do or what I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think this is just the problem with them, ive seen a few comments under pictures using these moulds wher people have said about them not coming away clean - think you just have to stick with it icon_sad.gif

Hi there, I don't have them and I don't use fondant, but I got a pearl maker. I rub a bit of shortening and use gumpaste to make them. The other thing that you can try doing is dust a good amount of cornflour on the mold and then try doing it.

Hope this would help,
