This is the instructions in my wilton book...(celebrate with fondant)
Roll out fondant 1/8 in. thick and cut circles for buttons using smallest round cut out. Indent centers with dog bone tool from confectionery set; insert wooden skewer to form 2 button holes.

I just roll a ball of fondant. Bigger than a pea and smaller than a whopper depends on what size buttons you want. Then I took a dowel rod and smushed the ball. It flattened out the ball and created the indent/lip of the button then I just took a toothpick and poked four holes in the middle. It was so easy I had my hubbie making buttons for me! ![]()
