Ok, I am making some Backyardigan cupcakes and I am supposed to pour melted icing over peanut butter cookies. Well that looks like crap. Anyone have any pointers on how to do it?

Is is because the cookies aren't smooth? When I have to pour over an ugly cookie, then I turn it over and pour over the flat side. Hope that answers your question.
