Ribbon On Cake Board

What do y'all use to attach a ribbon around the edge of a cake board? I can't get mine to stick.

If I'm using foam core, I use double stick tape. Cardboard rounds that I have taped together to make about 1/2" thick and partical board, I use hot glue.

Wipe it good to get rid of grease from BC or whatever....and good double sided tape!

I use glue dots or ribbon adhesive transfer, which can be found in the scrapbooking stuff. It's really cool. You just rub the sheet around the board to transfer the adhesive, then wrap your ribbon. I used to use double sided tape, but it doesn't stick well to grosgrain or other heavy textured ribbon.

craft glue (but only on board not the cake lol!) pin one side wrap around pre glued edge then attach the other end with a pin and leave to dry
