I just bought the fmm pearl maker after getting Kerry Vincent's Romantic Cakes book (amazing!!!!!) but it wont give me a clean cut. not only is there a big seam down one side (like in the book which she trimmed) there is also one on front so it looks awful and not clean at all. does anyone have this tool and has it worked for you?? im really disapointed as hers were perfect round individual pearls.

PS - I've never used that one...only the CK blue ones. LUV them!!!

as soon as i read this i realised its the blue ck one that kerry vincent used - she uses so many fmm tools that i got confused and ordered the wrong one!!! so disappointed, cant believe i was sooo stupid - £15 down the drain as the fmm ones seriously do not work at all 
I too love the blue one. Took some practice to get used to it but it works great.
